We all have a lot of questions about what will happen next. But think what you might like to ask the council about their processes – such as about the whole process of setting this up in the first place. What comes to mind?
Might it be about the process of selecting a developer previously involved in bribery, housing that created breathing problems, and casting aside long-term residents like in Woodberry Down? During the procurement stage, two developers pulled out – leaving only one.
What about the 2019 engagement process? We asked Councillor Cotton to provide some evidence of the steering group that supposedly met in 2019. There has been no response to date. Did any meeting take place – and on what basis could our local Councillors Hartley and Bore claim community support for this plan?
Why aren’t people in Ladywood involved in planning the meetings that will supposedly occur from September?
