How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you because you want to receive updates from Ladywood Unite about the Ladywood Regeneration project.
We use the information that you have given us in order to share information with you about the Ladywood Regeneration project.
We may share this information with people who live in Ladywood and volunteer to read and respond to emails for Ladywood Unite. We may share this information with MailChimp (www.mailchimp.com), a company that helps to send and organise emails using GDP compliant processes.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting ladywoodunite@gmail.com
(b) We need it to perform a public task.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored in a password-protected Excel files and Gmail and MailChimp accounts. We plan keep your email and phone number for as long as the Ladywood Regeneration project continues and you want updates, expected to be 20 years, or until you tell us to delete your information. We will then dispose your information by closing the Twitter, Gmail, and Mailchimp accounts associated with Ladywood Unite. We will remove your information if you request us to do so.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
