Generic email from Birmingham City Council to Ladywood

“We know there has been upset around the plans for Ladywood regeneration and what that may mean for you and your homes.

Over the last few weeks, we have received many questions from the community. We are working hard to be able to share more information and are pulling together a Frequently Asked Questions sheet for different groups, including BCC tenants, BCC tower tenants, homeowners, businesses, local community services (Dr, Dentist, Schools, Nurseries) and more, which we intend to send to you at the end of the month. We will also share information on the next stages of engagement and consultation which will take place over the coming months and years.

We will be working with residents to develop and agree a Residents’ Charter – which will set out what you expect from us and how we will communicate with you going forward.

To ensure we are collaborating with Ladywood’s residents and businesses effectively, we ask you to take a moment to click the link below.

The link will take you to a form where you can let us know the best way to contact you and how you would like to be involved. This will help us understand how we communicate in the future.

We are currently planning the first phase of initial engagement (to begin in autumn) and we hope to share this with you as soon as we can.

Kind Regards,

Ladywood Estate Regeneration Team

Please note the form above will expire on 29 September, when a new link will be provided.”
