About Ladywood Unite
Ladywood Unite is a resident-led grassroots community organisation formed in 2023 in response to proposed large-scale demolition and regeneration in Ladywood. We work to protect good-quality homes and valued community assets, advocate for social and genuinely affordable housing, and ensure residents are central to decisions affecting their neighbourhood.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, community power and equitable participation.
Purpose of the Consultancy

The consultant will retain control over their working methods and the organisation of their time, although we will ask the consultant to attend weekly meetings (ideally Mondays at 12noon, with some flexibility), with key residents during the duration of their consultancy.
The consultancy is initially offered for six months from September 2026, with the possibility of an extension of up to 18 months. Any extension will be subject to funding, organisational priorities, satisfactory delivery and agreement between Ladywood Unite and the consultant. The scope, time commitment and fee may be reviewed and revised by agreement.
